Realizing how much time flies when a new year comes can be kinda tough and rough. Well, in my case that’s what I thought. But, I was wrong! I learned that anytime can be a fresh start, and it does not always have to start in a “new year.” If you ask me, this is TOTALLY a must-read to help you to not just get through the year, but to help you through all the years to come and be able to find those resolutions. That’s why I set out 18 must-read resolutions for you to take note of! I know it’s a lot, but each resolution gives you great advice and provides what may be helpful for you.
Resolution #1: Breath in, breath out.
As a working mortal, you would sometimes start your days tired, stressed, and just let the weight of all your problems push yourself down, thinking all of that even though you haven’t started the day yet. It’s not healthy of course, so you shouldn’t do that to yourself.
My advice for you is to take breaks when needed. But if you just want to sleep for some reason, then I can totally see that you’re just giving up on yourself, when you can actually finish those tasks quickly.
Resolution #2: Start those skips and next times.
I think you know what I mean when you start a certain task and at a certain point you stop finishing it. Leaving it behind and promising yourself you’ll do it the next day or when you’re free. But you don’t! The next thing you know, it starts to dust to rust to rot itself out in that corner of “future things to do soon” stash. Harsh.
my other self is like:
My advice for you is to start finishing them. Busy or not, it’s very gratifying to finish things you can finish. Turning you into a more prolific, virile, and a vibrant human being. Plus, you end up no regrets! How’s that sound?
Resolution #3: Restore yourself.
Remembering those good ol’ days was great and nothing ever really mattered. It was just all party and fun, there weren’t any depressing problems that made your heart-break, bleed, and blinded. But since it’s the modern age, I get to have this itch in the back of my mind that you let that all gone into ashes. But it’s time to bring it back!
My advice for you is to have fun. Enjoy your life! Be weird, be colorful, do anything that makes you happy! Sometimes breaking rules, are the best antidotes to a great life. Just make sure to remind yourself to not overdo it too much. But heck, it’s your life anyway.
Resolution #4: Ignite joy.
From a saying that you know of, life is short, and it really is. You should do your best to get the best out of things (got that from a saying too) and ignite happiness, care, love, hope, and everything else that’s all good and jolly to make the world a little warmer for you and everyone else. But that doesn’t mean anything about global warming. That’s a totally different story.
My advice for you is to be happy. Like, true happiness, true kind-heartedness, do things with love, anything as long as you do it with courtesy and correctly. You can do it with others too!
Resolution #5: Count your blessings.
Truth be told, you know and you can confess that when you see a person with those great looks and outfits that just defines his/her social status, you get the “judging myself” time. And yet, it isn’t healthy. You should know that you’re already great! You got a house, you got family, friends, food, and more! Those are more than just enough to become the greatest person ever yet!
My advice for you is to count your blessings.
Resolution #6: Do stuff your own way.
When it comes to work, you get used to the “listen to the boss” or “follow this and that” blah blah blah things that makes your life a total work and a *puts on sarcastic voice* a life’s work. Jeez, it’s time to tune it up!
My advice for you is to be creative, let yourself do your own thing and style! Make your life enjoyable! Express yourself to others and show them how it’s done! You can’t always be the worker. You just gotta be the boss too.
Resolution #7: Know your worth.
When I mean worth, I don’t really exactly mean money. I mean the fact that you should understand your own value to others. You don’t have to entertain them or to be with them just to let them see your value. Shoo-shoo away haters and fakers!
Resolution #8: Fall without breaking.
Falling deep into love, trust, and with others can sometimes turn out into sad turns and twists. And that’s life you know, it just happens. That’s why you should know how to prepare on events like these.
My advice for you is to make sure that you are willing to fall into it deeply and to know what to do when you break yourself and hit rock bottom. Learn how to pick up your own broken pieces, glue yourself back again, bloom, and move on.
Resolution #9: Speak your heart out.
Your heart is like a bottle-sized jar. It keeps all the feelings, the memories, and including your dark secrets. Most of the time, there are also the things that you would like to say, and I am telling you this. Say it.
My advice for you is to speak before you do it. Sometimes it’s right to just say it away, and sometimes, you just gotta take a moment to do it. Just make sure it’s the choice you’re willing to choose.
Resolution #10: Pop a drink.
Come on, it’s enjoyable. It doesn’t have to be alcoholic, just drink to the name of the things and events that you did, lived, and survived!
Hey it’s “refill your food” or “pee break” time! BTW, what do you think of this article so far? Got some comments, advice, ads, and other stuff you would like for me to post about? Check out my contact info after this article or just visit my contact page!
Resolution #11: Meditate healthily.
Always give yourself the health and relaxation that your body needs. Lmao I literally sound like an advertisement hahaha.
My advice for you is to tranquilize. Do any act to keep yourself settled back, healthy, and unwind to recharge yourself.
Resolution #12: Be a sleeper.
No one likes lack of sleep and I know you don’t want it too. It gives you less energy and it makes you turn lazy, giving you a lot of regrets and promises to wake up early broken.
My advice for you is to sleep more and sleep early as much as needed.
Resolution #13: Get Real
In those days when social and popularity status in the internet wasn’t really a thing before, people were still all real and original. But in this modern age, it seems like everyone wants to be her or him (you know, those in the higher-up status and all) and it just loses most of everyone’s true authenticity and genuineness of themselves.
My advice for you is to be your own style in every way. Don’t be a copy cat. You can idolize and be “on the trend”, just as long as you don’t forget to add something that makes you stand out and be that someone in the crowd.
Resolution #14: Don’t expect too much.
Expecting how easy you will pass through all your problems and all in the future can make you become a person with too much of your self. Self-esteem is great but too much can turn you into a person with a big ego.
My advice for you is to stay humble and kind. Be equal to yourself and to others. Know the difference facing the reality, and expecting it.
Resolution #15: Remember to help yourself before others.
The world is changing and so are you. And trust me, working to achieve those goals in order to succeed gets tougher. Making you more pressured or stressed when you get that impatient, urge feeling to finish it so you can do this and that with the people you want to be with, and that’s normal I tell you. We all get that too.
My advice for you is to not involve yet to yourself to others when it comes to helps that gives you more of your time. Finish your tasks first, become flourishing, and when you’re done, then that’s the time when you can be dynamic and prolific in helping others.
Resolution #16: Do more.
If you finish the #2 resolution, and you got enough time to spare, then you can do more other stuff that you haven’t tried yet! Go somewhere! Eat, get to know people, and discover! Don’t have the time? Then make time! Live every moment and do much as possible with adventure!
Resolution #17: Go get a foodie cheat day.
Too much work, excercise, and diet runs can become too much for you, especially boring. But hey, what’s wrong with having a junk food-all fun day from time to time?! As long as you are happy and go back to your regular healthy-work-and-diet run, then you’ll be fine!
My advice for you is to go and eat something new from time to time!
Now, for my last resolution!
Resolution #18: Congratulate yourself.
Nowadays, people like you tend to forget to congratulate yourself for going through every problem that life hits at you. No matter what outcome you come face into, you musn’t never forget to be glad that you did your best, and that you at least tried (but if you didn’t then that’s still alright). Never forget to congratulate yourself for all of it!
My advice for you is to congratulate yourself for doing a good job.
